Where it runs
Sanctions screening
Screening decisions carry the list version, the match logic and the evidence that cleared or held them.
A screening decision is asked about years later, by a regulator, about a name that has since changed status. The question is never “what do you think now” — it is “what did you conclude then, on what, and can you show it.”
The record carries the list version in force at the time, the match threshold, the aliases considered, and the evidence that resolved a near-match either way.
