What we ask for

The institution

Who is accountable for the decisions the records will describe.

The use

Which judgments will be recorded, and who will be entitled to ask about them later.

The horizon

How long those records need to remain answerable. It is usually longer than people first say.

FAQ

Questionsand answers

What happens after I write?

A person reads it. If the institution and the use fit the current release, we propose a scope in writing. Nothing at this step is automated.

What does a first deployment look like?

A shadow deployment beside your existing process: every judgment leaves a record from the first day, with enforcement off. Enforcement is turned on by you, later, if at all.

How long until the first record?

It depends on the use and the evidence providers involved, and it is stated in the scope. We do not publish a figure.

What is signed?

An agreement naming the institution, the use, the retention horizon and the anchoring rail. The conformance suite and the provider set are issued under it, not published.

Bring the record with the judgment.
